Point Of View
Original Paragraph:
So I am mad, you say? You should have seen how careful I was to put the body where no one could find it. First I cut off the head, then the arms and the legs. I was careful not to let a single drop of blood fall on the floor.
Revision of Original paragraph in 2nd Person:
So you are mad, you say? You should have seen how careful he was to put the body where no one could find it. First you have to cut off the head, then you have to do the arms and the legs. Make sure you are careful not to let a single drop of blood fall on the floor.
1) What P.O.V. was the work originally in?
The work was in first point of view.
2) Did you have to change anything else other than the pronouns (E.g. verbs)
I mostly changed the pronouns, for example to you or yours.
3) How does the change of P.O.V. also change the story?
The change of point of view changes the story because instead of the narrator telling the story it is more of an "instructional" way of reading I suppose.
